Karuppu Kavuni rice-3/4 cup
Moong dal-1/4 cup
Nattu sakkarai -2 cup
Coconut milk-2 cup
Cashew, raisin, ghee
Wash & soak the black rice for 30 mts.
Remove water, and dry roast the rice low flame for 15 to 20 mts.
Rice will pop up then off the flame.
Rest for 10 mts then break the rice gently in a mixer(not like powder).
In a pressure cooker add the broken rice & moong dal, for 4-5 whistle.
Once the pressure release, slightly mash the rice with ladle, boil it again in medium flame.
Add Nattu sakkarai, cardamom for taste.
